After a year away due to COVID, road racing has made a much welcome return with the VCL 2 day at Cyclopark.
I would be lying if I said I didn’t want to win the event or even a 1 out of the 4 races but unfortunately that didn’t happen. I had some decent results with top 10 finishes and positive feedback from my power data but I also had some disappointing results which isn’t what I want but it’s the first race of the season and I know what I have to do to get better so with the help of the world class coaches at trainSharp, we will get to where I know I can get to.
This weekend I’m back racing road on Saturday at Redbridge for my first taste of an E/1/2 race and on Sunday I’m back racing in TT’s on a course I know very well and hopefully I can extend my current course record to show that my form is good.

Finally, I had a very interesting chat with Dan Bigham along with my good friend Gray on Quicklink podcast, always welcome to hear from the people I admire and maybe take some tips and put them into action for myself.
This is just the start of the season and I have alot to work on but I have plenty of time to do what I know I’m capable of.
Thanks for reading
