January hasn’t started how everyone wanted it to, with the UK going back into lockdown once again. However this is an excuse to further myself in many aspects to make me a better cyclist.
January brought me some very good news despite the world situation. I’m proud to be one of Pedal Potential’s supported riders for the 2021 season. I’d like to say a massive thank you to the Pedal Potential team for agreeing to support me. My aim is to make sure I live up to being a supported athlete in every way I can at every opportunity possible in 2021.
Also over January, I’ve had the opportunity to talk on my friends podcast called Quicklink. This has been an all new experience and its been great talking to people I never would have done otherwise. Big shoutout and thanks to Gray, Josh, Giacomo and Inigo for taking the time to produce and present the podcast. Here’s a link to the podcast for anyone to check it out: Quicklink Podcast
Last but by no means least. Along with giving me world class coaching, my coach Alex Welburn took the time to teach me and the team about our nutrition which is what I’ve struggled with over the years. Hopefully this will be a massive help to get me to where I want to be and that’s winning bike races. Huge thanks to Alex and also to the whole trainSharp team for preparing everything for when we are given the green light to start racing once more.
With any luck, we should have some racing on the horizon. But until then, I’ll keep my head down and keep pushing for greatness
