Spring in the park is a series that is held over 9 weeks at Cyclopark in Gravesend.
I have been attending Spring in the Park since 2013 as an Under 10 category rider. In my first year competing in Spring in the Park I managed to come 3rd overall.

I have supported Spring in the Park right from 2013 until my final year of Under 16. I have managed to place on the podium 3 times: 3rd in 2013, 2nd in 2017 and 2nd in 2019.

This year instead of trophies for the podium, the organisers decided to have custom made headcaps made from a company called Kapz. I think these were a great momento of a great season and it was not only podiuming riders who recived custom headcaps. Riders who had completed 5 rounds or more of Spring in the Park also got custom headcaps from Kapz.

Sadly, 2019 was the last year I could compete at Spring in the Park. It was a great series every year and really got me hooked on cycling. I’d like to thank the organisers and volunteers for their time and effort to make Spring in the Park a truly great series. I look forward to continue racing at Cyclopark as a junior and an adult.
